Our team is always keeping an eye out for the newest products and upcoming trends. We want to have a pulse on what’s going on in the design world, and then we take that inspiration with us to put the cherry on top of your design. 

The best part of seeking inspiration is getting to travel outside of St. Louis! 

Recently, the ADJ team traveled to Chicago to visit all of our favorite showrooms at the Merchandise Mart to bring you cutting-edge design. Here are a few highlights from our trip:

We love the muted colors in this living room vignette. Texture is added through the marble nesting cocktail tables and boucle pillow.
Of course, we had to test out the chairs to see which were comfortable — not just the most beautiful!
The vibrant colors on these rugs and textiles were right up our alley.
This stunning light fixture had us dreaming.
April and Meagan searched high and low to find the best dining chair options.
We went to several showrooms, but one of our favorites was Waterworks’ stunning faucet displays.
Another favorite showroom was Virginia Tile. We can’t wait to use these metallic tiles!

The color saturation on these tiles … wow!
This neutral bedroom at the Kravet showroom contains geometric shapes in every aspect — sculptural lamps, nightstands, the bench, throw pillows, and even the Roman shades!
OF COURSE, we had to find the cherries!
We adored the bold colors on these plumbing fixtures.
Where would you put this bold red side table? We think it’d be a great piece to spice up a small space!

We stayed at the fabulous Langham Hotel, which was stunning! Their signature color is the most perfect pale pink. Not to mention, they have the softest robes ever!
A delicious dinner at Le Colonial on iconic Oak Street.
Afternoon tea at the Langham — such a unique and delicious experience. 10/10 recommend! P.S. Do you see the cherry?
Many inside jokes were created on this memorable trip!

We had a blast not only immersing ourselves in design but also spending time together as a team. It was an amazing Chicago trip, and we can’t wait to see where our inspiration strikes next!
