Her best friends describe her as quirky; her colleagues describe her as capable. An Interior Designer at ADJ Interiors, Cristy Baker is a CAD and planning whiz who was drawn to interior design because of her love of architecture. In fact, she sites Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright as the best.
Don’t let her reserved demeanor fool you, she played roller derby competitively for over a decade. Although she claims she is on hiatus now, we think she’ll be back in the rink soon.
She harnesses her upbringing in the Southwest and time in the south to draw on a full palette of unique color interplay for clients—from rustic neutrals to bright pops of color. Personally, she gravitates toward mid-century modern design elements, finding comfort in the simple forms, wood tones, and pops of color; however, she is open to all styles and loves a design challenge.
After graduating with a degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Phoenix, Cristy held a variety of positions in sales, kitchen design, and interior design throughout the southwest before moving to St. Louis and joining ADJ Interiors.
When Cristy isn’t working, she is spending time with her husband and two boys, and drawing inspiration from the details in everyday life.
