Scotland
Lupine flowers were everywhere and quickly became April’s favorite flower.
April took her mother-in-law to Scotland, along with her bestie Katie. It was very windy and very cold on top of Edinburgh Castle — what a view though!
More from Gleneagles!
April’s crew at afternoon tea at the famous Charles Rennie Mackintosh Tea Room in Glasgow with their tour guide, Terry.
Gleneagles — the most magical place April’s ever stayed. “Go there now!”
More flowers on the wall at Stirling Castle!
April got to love on this little guy!
Scotland was green for miles everywhere they toured — from Edinburgh, Glen Eagles, Glasgow, and more.
London
Cherries even in Trafalgar Square!
“I couldn’t not go to London without visiting a Kit Kemp Property — this one in Soho.”
Inside one of their favorite pubs, Scarfs. The namesake is of a famous cartoonist, and it had the yummiest drinks and most beautiful atmosphere.
April says it was such a privilege to get to be some of the first to ride the new Elizabeth Line. The Tube was so easy and fun — and just in time for the Jubilee!
Westminster Abbey — “one of the most beautiful ceilings I’ve ever seen!”
April’s photo opp with Lizzie! April had her first Pimm’s at a small pub while everyone was starting to celebrate the Jubilee.
Borough Market — “so yummy!”
Lots of open air markets with food and goods from around the world at Spitalfields.
Westminster Abbey
Big Ben — which is actually not Big Ben, only the bell inside is called by that name!
It stayed light until about 10 p.m. — what a great view of London’s Piccadilly Circus Area.
